"That photography is all about perspectives. Taking a look at the world around us in vast detail gives us different perspectives all the time, especially within the landscape, but what would happen if your camera could fly? Then you really would get a different perspective."
And as a landscape photographer I have always enjoyed capturing the landscape around me, of course my landscape photography website can be found at 28swphotography. But hold on a minute, what would happen if I could get a "completely different perspective on the landscape that is around me." And that is where "From A Different Perspective Photography" comes into play. You see there is one thing that I have always loved and that is flight and aviation, of course over the years I have been lucky enough to fly on various aircraft and looking below and seeing the different perspectives within the landscape is perhaps a little bit more magical, but years ago if you had wanted to capture photographs from the air, what would you have had to do? Well you would have had to hire an Aeroplane or a Helicopter, and have some pretty expensive photography equipment in order to capture the landscape below - now though that has seemingly changed, technology has got better and smaller, now it is easier than ever to photograph views from the air and gain a completely different perspective on the landscape around us from up high, using a Drone.
And that is where "From A Different Perspective Photography" was born from, an idea perhaps that when you take to the sky, a different perspective on the landscape can truly be found. Of course my drone photography showcases the best in seasons and how they change and how the landscape around us is actually full of artworks, but my drone photography also showcases the more abstract and hidden details that can be found when we look at things in a completely different perspective - and that perhaps is another advantage of drone photography, because from up above it is possible to see patterns and details in a landscape that you probably have not seen before, and they in themselves are artworks within their own right that are just awaiting to be discovered, and that is what "From A Different Perspective Photography" hopes to bring, a completely different perspective on the landscape and details in the landscape that we do not usually see from ground level.
